Igor Sorokopud, the founder of Fellner Construction, began his career as a carpenter and has spent more than 20 years immersed in every aspect of the UK construction industry. During this time, he achieved an NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management and gained invaluable experience working as a site supervisor, site manager, and project manager for established firms across the sector.
These years on the ground gave Igor a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within high-end residential construction. From intricate renovations to large-scale refurbishments, he developed a keen eye for detail and a genuine appreciation for the care and precision that discerning clients expect.

The name Fellner Construction carries personal significance. It was inspired by Fellner & Helmer, the celebrated late 19th and early 20th centuries Austrian architects whose masterpieces across Central and Eastern Europe first captured Igor’s imagination as a young man. Their timeless elegance and ambition for design have influenced him ever since, shaping the standards of quality and vision that guide the company today.
